Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Royal Table Restaurant Management Software(“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, protects, and discloses information when you use our website, QR ordering services, kitchen display systems, and manager dashboards.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide seamless digital menu browsing, table order transmission, kitchen coordination, billing, and restaurant management services:
A. Merchant & Restaurant Partner Information
When registering for an account or managing a venue, we collect restaurant names, owner contact names, business email addresses, telephone numbers, outlet addresses, tax details (such as GSTIN where applicable), and account authentication credentials.
B. Dining Guest & Order Information
When guests scan a table QR code and place an order, we process table identifiers, selected food/beverage items, special dietary preferences/notes, order timestamps, payment status, and optional contact details if provided by the guest for receipts or feedback.
C. Device & Technical Log Data
We automatically log browser types, operating systems, IP addresses, referring URLs, device identifiers, system performance telemetry, and WebSocket connection metadata to guarantee uptime and fast order synchronization.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process collected data solely for legitimate operational purposes:
- Transmitting orders instantly from table QR sessions to designated kitchen display stations and bar monitors.
- Generating accurate dining receipts, calculating table bills, and tracking live revenue performance for restaurant operators.
- Maintaining real-time table status updates (e.g., Queued, Cooking, Served, Paid) for floor managers.
- Preventing platform abuse, fraudulent transactions, and unauthorized access to restaurant manager portals.
- Providing responsive technical customer support and system maintenance.
- Aggregating anonymized analytical metrics to help restaurant owners optimize menu engineering and reduce kitchen bottlenecks.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We utilize essential session cookies, local storage tokens, and trusted consent management tools (such as Cookiebot) to ensure our web application functions reliably:
- Essential Session Tokens: Secure HTTP-only cookies and cryptographic JWTs that maintain active staff and manager login states.
- Table Session Identifiers: Local storage identifiers that prevent accidental order duplication if a diner refreshes their browser window.
- Preference Cookies: Storing display configurations (such as dark mode preferences and language selections).
You can configure your browser to decline non-essential cookies; however, disabling essential session tokens may prevent access to authentication-protected management dashboards.
4. Analytics and Measurement
We use Google Analytics (Measurement ID: G-T9N8M2B9YZ) to measure website traffic, understand user navigation patterns, and identify system performance anomalies on public landing pages. Google Analytics collects anonymized telemetry, including masked IP addresses and browser characteristics. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across the web by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Third-Party Services and Subprocessors
To maintain high availability and real-time reliability, we partner with specialized, industry-leading infrastructure and cloud service providers:
Render / AWS cloud servers for backend execution and WebSocket connections.
MySQL and Redis caching for sub-second order queuing and session states.
Stripe, Razorpay, or UPI integrations. Payment card data is processed directly by PCI-DSS certified gateways.
Cloudinary CDN for ultra-fast digital menu dish photography delivery.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your customers’ dining records to third-party data brokers or advertisers.
6. Data Retention
We retain merchant business records for the duration of your active subscription and as required by accounting, tax, and corporate compliance laws. Dining guest session data and temporary order states are archived or anonymized following table checkout and billing reconciliation.
7. Data Security Measures
We implement comprehensive technical and organizational safeguards to protect data:
- End-to-end TLS 1.3 encryption for all data transmitted between web browsers, kitchen screens, and servers.
- Bcrypt cryptographic password hashing with strong salt factors.
- Strict role-based access control (RBAC) segregating manager, cashier, and kitchen staff capabilities.
- Regular automated vulnerability audits, dependency updates, and strict database query sanitization.
8. User Rights and Data Subject Requests
In accordance with applicable data protection regulations (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act in India and GDPR principles where relevant), you hold the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: Request a structured copy of the personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete records.
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of personal records where retention is no longer legally required.
- Right to Restrict or Object: Restrict certain processing activities or withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, please email our support team at ashishvishwakarmasaroj@gmail.com.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our software platform is designed for commercial hospitality operations and is not targeted at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal details without guardian consent, please contact us immediately for prompt deletion.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect enhancements to our platform features, operational practices, or evolving legal frameworks. When updates occur, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For significant updates, we will notify registered restaurant administrators via email or in-app dashboard notices.
